Product & Technology
You will work in TOPdesk's Product & Technology domain. In that domain you are responsible for all colleagues working in UX related roles, i.e., including UX Designers, Design System Designers, and UX Researchers, fostering an environment of creativity and growth. Currently there are three UX Managers who will directly report to you.
You will be part of the Product & Technology leadership team. That team is headed by the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) and consists further of the VP Product Engineering, VP Platform Engineering and VP Product.
Key Responsibilities
Vision and Strategy
- Develop a clear and actionable UX vision that complements the overall product strategy.
- Cultivate and communicate consistent messaging around the UX vision and strategy.
- Provide strategic direction that empowers decision-making within the UX community.
Leadership and Organizational Influence
Champion and implement organizational changes that enhance UX and empower customer centricity.Optimize UX resource allocation, i.e., having the right, relevant and applicable skills and capacities available for the product teams to optimize for reaching UX objectives.Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to UX professionals.Foster professional growth and guidance for UX team members.Ensure UX maturity is set to the appropriate level within the company.Actively support initiatives by providing organizational clarity and presence.Communicate clear expectations and relevant company goals.Accountability and Outcomes
Demonstrate achievement of agreed upon outcomes and product value.Monitor and assure the quality and consistency of UX across the product portfolio.Involve UX professionals in co-creating product strategy.Product and Technical Support
Map UX-related concerns to product strategy and maintain alignment with the roadmap.Address technical challenges affecting product-wide UX.Qualifications
Qualifications
More than 10 years working experience in the field of UX of which more than 5 years in leadership positions.Proven experience in UX leadership in business-to-business product development, including setting and executing high-level UX vision.Strong understanding of product strategy and ability to align UX efforts with business objectives.Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of fostering professional growth within a UX team.Ability to drive organizational change and enhance UX maturity.Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey strategic vision and product goals.Experience in managing UX quality across diverse product lines.Technical proficiency related to UX design trends and interaction patterns.Collaborative mindset to involve UX professionals in strategy development and execution.Additional Information
