What is the position about?
The Dmart Commercial Lead will be responsible for shaping and driving the commercial strategy for foodora Market Hungary within our Dmart retail division. This role is designed for an innovative and results-driven leader with a deep understanding of retail, customer behavior, and business development. The Dmart Commercial Lead will oversee all aspects of commercial operations, including sales, product offerings, pricing, and partnerships, ensuring that we meet our business objectives and continue to thrive in a competitive retail environment.
Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Dmart division to drive growth, enhance profitability, and improve customer satisfaction. Align business objectives with the retail strategies to deliver results and optimize performance across all channels.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships, including supplier agreements, product offerings, and market expansions. Foster strong relationships with key industry partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support growth.
Oversee pricing strategies, sales forecasting, and financial planning to maximize revenue and profit margins. Work closely with the merchandising and inventory teams to ensure effective product placement and availability.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling retail strategies that enhance the customer experience, drive sales, and improve brand positioning within the market. Ensure alignment with overall brand goals and customer engagement initiatives.
Lead the Dmart product assortment strategy and inventory management efforts to optimize customer satisfaction and sales performance. Utilize data analytics to adjust stock levels, pricing, and product assortment to meet market demands.
Manage and guide the commercial team within the Dmart division, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Provide mentorship and development opportunities to support team growth.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team for refining strategies and maintaining a competitive edge.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, profitability, SKUs listing, and customer satisfaction for the Dmart division. Use insights to adjust strategies and deliver optimal business outcomes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and manage agreements to ensure favorable terms, timely deliveries, and the highest product quality standards.
Work closely with DH regional teams to leverage local knowledge, insights, and market dynamics to tailor commercial strategies for specific regions. Share best practices and collaborate on initiatives to ensure Foodora Market HU’s objectives are consistently met across different geographical markets.
