We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to join our Commercial Services team. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Business Applications & Operations and be a part of the extended IT & Digital management team. As a leader, you will play a pivotal role in providing a sustainable and solid application platform aligned with business requirements. You will oversee a team of skilled professionals, work closely with business stakeholders and drive vendor relationships.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in application maintenance and vendor management supported by a professional communication skillset.
The team and your mission
The mission of the Head of Commercial Services is to build and sustain a high-performing team through structured governance and industry best practices.
The responsibilities include managing the application landscape for Salesforce, ServiceMax and Ecommerce platforms, driving vendor relationship whilst optimizing contract value, ensuring IT compliance, managing assets through their lifecycle, and embedding a growth mindset in the team.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing, directing and developing the team, ensuring the activities are allocated and executed in a timely manner. You will work closely with the management team, break down strategic goals and translate them into deliverables on a team level as well as setting the goals for personal objectives.
You will be accountable for enhancing the overall performance of the Commercial Services team in full alignment with best practices and strategic priorities.
Furthermore, you will guide the team to success via :
Acting as Service Owner of business-critical applications focusing on the entire service lifecycle
Ensuring governance framework is maintained to facilitate continuous engagement with business stakeholders
Proactively engaging with key stakeholders across functions to understand ongoing and upcoming initiatives
Distributing the team effort between project initiatives and regular maintenance activities
Leading the team to fulfill the success criteria based on customer satisfaction, SLA compliance, cost efficiency and employee engagement
Inspiring the team to deliver excellent levels of individual and team performance
Oversee the technology landscape, improve software development practices like continuous integration and deployment practices
What you need to succeed in this role :
You are passionate about delivering business value and have a customer service mindset with the ability to leverage and nurture the capabilities of a strong, professional team. You have a growth mindset and a positive can-do attitude with strong collaborative and caring character.
You have a bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent experience in delivering salesforce based software solutions – ideally solid level of technical understanding of the salesforce ecosystem.
