AWS Senior Architect | Hungary @ Deloitte
We're building out a cloud architecture practice in Hungary, focused on clients who are moving core infrastructure to the cloud — for real, not on a roadmap slide.
Many of our clients have already decided that AWS will play a key role in their future technology landscape. What they need now are architects who can help design practical cloud solutions, support migration and modernization initiatives, and work closely with engineering teams to turn cloud ambitions into working platforms.
If you enjoy solving technology challenges, collaborating with clients, and helping organizations build secure and scalable cloud environments, we'd like to hear from you.
What we offer:
- Language courses and ongoing professional development.
- Medical, wellness, and lifestyle benefits tailored to individual needs.
- Hybrid Work Environment: Flexibility to work from home, the office, or at client sites as needed.
- Flexible Working Hours: Adaptable schedules to suit your personal and professional needs.
- Personalized Development Path: Tailored career development plans to help you grow in your professional journey.
- Supportive Team Atmosphere: Friendly coworkers and a collaborative team spirit.
- Diverse Project Opportunities: Engage with a wide variety of projects across multiple industries.
- Global Exposure: Work with clients from different geographies and cultures.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience designing and delivering secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, networking, security, automation, and cloud-native services.
- Experience leading cloud migration, modernization, or transformation initiatives.
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical cloud architectures.
- Experience working with senior business, technology, architecture, and security stakeholders.
- Ability to lead client workshops, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Experience guiding engineering teams and overseeing delivery from architecture through implementation.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Fluency in English and Hungarian.
- EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Hungary.
Nice to have:
- Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud governance, operating models, and migration strategies.
- Broader architecture experience across integration, data, cybersecurity, or application modernization.
- AWS certification or another relevant cloud architecture credential.
- German at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
