Overview:

Time Out Market Budapest opened its doors in September 2025. Our goal is to build a dynamic, eager-to-learn team together, with whom we showcase the very best of the city under one roof.

Our Hostessess will be the face of Time Out Market Budapest, welcoming guests with warmth and assisting with seating and guest inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally welcoming and seating guests

• Handling cash register operations and gift cards (balance checks, top-ups, payouts of remaining amounts)

• Assisting guests with available menus, programs, and promotions

• Managing reservation systems and coordinating walk-in guests

• Working closely with operations and event management teams
  

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry

• Confident use of English and Hungarian

• Strong computer skills for handling reservation systems

• Managing, processing, and responding to guest inquiries and corporate event requests

• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts based on a pre-scheduled roster

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations on busy days

• Well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for hospitality

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Strong guest-focused mindset

• High level of responsibility, quick responsiveness, and motivation

• Team player attitude

• Important note: this is a part-time position, available to work 20–30 hours per week.
