Senior Lead Accountant

Our client is a global accounting firm based in Budapest, Hungary, providing services that include accounting, tax advisory, payroll, and corporate solutions.

We are excited to present an opportunity to join their team as a Senior Lead Accountant, playing a key role in ensuring local operations run smoothly while delivering an outstanding client experience on an international scale.

Responsibilities :

• Coordination of a professional team of 5-6 accountants , emphasizing effective people management skills to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
• Supervision and verification of the activities of team members to ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and practices
• Compiling detailed weekly and monthly client reports that provide valuable insights into financial performance and inform strategic decision-making
• Preparation of necessary documentation and thorough maintenance of accurate records to support auditing processes and ensure transparency in financial operations
• Being hands-on and actively involved in tasks as needed , demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success by stepping in to support team members during peak times or when challenges arise
