Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Experience is part of Global Business Operations (GBO) and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis.
The department is responsible for the interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting, the management of the P&L delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency, steering towards the defined strategy of the markets as well as driving automatization and innovation in the decision support infrastructure.
About the role
The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst in A&P Team dedicated to GB is mainly responsible to support the Marketing Finance and FP&A heads, Marketing budget owners and take ownership for Annual Planning, O&R, Actual reporting and variance analysis, including :
Analyze A&P spend to identify trends, variances, and root causes, driving actionable insights for budget owners
Maintain and supervise budget integrity by handling IO codes and ensuring alignment with agreed budget activities
Lead and support regular reporting cycles, including month-end close, O&R processes, and reconciliation of systems (e.g., Edge / Advantage vs Adapt)
Post journals with a proven understanding of financial connections and underlying business rationale
Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasting processes, and mid-year updates with data checks and targeted analysis.
Perform accrual balance reviews and handle recharges related to GB A&P, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Respond to audit and ad-hoc analysis requests independently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Assist in preparing monthly management reports (e.g., BPM, landing reports, extended WC, cash flow forecasts) and review decks.
Collaborate with marketing and finance partners to ensure aligned and effective reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Supply to the continuous improvement of financial processes and tools related to A&P management
As a member of the A&P Finance team, the FP&A Senior Analyst supports the planning, control, and analysis of Advertising & Promotion spend. The role partners with Finance, Marketing, and Procurement to handle budgets, forecast spend, ensure financial discipline, and drive efficiency across key investment areas.
About you
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance / Accounting or Business Administration
3-4 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, and / or Financial Controlling
Basic accounting knowledge
Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage
Proven experience with BW, SAP
Strong Excel knowledge
Proficient English knowledge
