Role summary
KPMG Global Services has established a global Continuous Improvement road map across Global Service Centres and want to leverage on LEAN transformation and other Continuous Improvement methodologies to deliver Operational Improvement benefits across various Business Units & Support functions.
A major component of the benefit target will be delivered through undertaking specific initiatives that find major efficiencies in our operations, improve the utilization levels and where appropriate reengineer the current operating model and establishing a continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities
Identify process improvement / efficiency opportunities through Gemba, Lean workshops and process reviews to be implemented to drive tangible benefit for KGSH / KDNEnsure business cases are thoroughly researched and syndicatedDeliver Continuous Improvement projects within the divisional portfolio on time, to scope and within budgetDrive governance of Continuous Improvement FrameworkEnsure the Continuous Improvement methodology, tools, technologies and thinking is embedded in this program at various leadership levelsCreate and deliver a communications plan which builds a deep and wide understanding of Lean across the divisionCollaborate with other departments / Peer experts / Global teams to maximize benefit realizationOperate as an exemplar to constructively challenge the organization to constantly improve operational capability and performanceRequirements
10 years of overall experience of which at least 5-8 years of experience in driving independent Black belt six sigma / LEAN transformation projects from global services backgroundMust have led 5-10 strategical projects and executive large strategic transformationsContinuous Improvement expertise, experience of large and complex Lean projects and track record of significant deliveryKnowledge of Lean methodologies and personal history of applying them to deliver business benefits within an organisationAbility to structure, analyse and present complex ideas and data, as well as resolve complex problemsAble to determine options, prioritise and make decisions that drive programme and organisational agenda forward but which also focus on ‘doing the right thing’Able to motivate and lead large cross-sections of the organisation through the Continuous Improvement journeyPeople management skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams in a matrix organizationAbility to operate effectively whilst under considerable pressureExceptional people skills - Ability to influence senior stakeholders, motivate and lead large cross-sections of the organisation to drive a cultural changeExceptional communication and presentation skillsTechnical skills
Deep Understanding of LEAN Tools and its implementations on groundShould have done Quality & Business Excellence roles in large capacityAbility to build value stream maps and use tools like Visio / Igraphics & other lean toolsPreferable to have experience in Quality FrameworksExperience of building value stream maps, facilitating Action Workouts and drive GEMBAHas run programs on Continuos Improvement across the Value chain of organisation - Operations / Information Technology / Finance and Accounting / Services & Sales etc.Knowledge of process automation / Robotic Process automation / digitization techniques and technologies / Six Sigma is an advantageElements should be in line with company guidelines and policies.
