Job Description
As a Power Systems Application Engineer, you will :
- Lead the configuration and implementation of utility GRID applications such as SCADA, OMS, DMS, EMS, and DERM.
- Contribute to the design and development of software systems focused on electrical data modeling and utility applications.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to model, simulate, and configure intelligent grid functions supporting electric utility operations.
- Apply industry-standard data exchange protocols such as CIM to integrate and maintain power system models.
What You Bring to the Table :
5+ years of proven experience in power system modeling, utility application configuration, and system integration.Strong domain knowledge of electric utility practices and functional workflows in Outage Management, Distribution Management, and Energy Management Systems.Proficiency in electrical data modeling, including exposure to CIM (Common Information Model) and other data exchange formats.Solid hands-on experience with SCADA, OMS, DMS, and EMS platforms for utility operations.Skilled in SQL / PLSQL for data handling, transformation, and system configuration.Experience applying SDLC methodologies like Agile / Lean / XP, and best practices in CI / CD, testing, refactoring, and documentation.You Should Possess the Ability To :
Design, configure, and test GRID-based software systems for large-scale utility environments.Interpret complex utility data and convert it into functional software modules and system configurations.Work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments with geographically distributed teams.Communicate effectively in English and local language, ensuring alignment between technical teams and utility stakeholders.What We Bring to the Table :
