About the Role

We are looking to hire an experienced and passionate Junior Mobile Backend Software Engineer to join Digital Factory. The new team member will be part of a dynamic development team, working primarily with Java and Spring Boot to design and implement backend services that support mobile applications. The role also includes creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end mobile apps. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. The Junior Engineer should have the ability to write simple, maintainable code and be eager to grow in the backend development space.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for mobile applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement RESTful APIs to support mobile applications, ensuring data flows efficiently and securely.
• Collaborate with front-end mobile developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services with mobile interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable , and efficient code , adhering to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, applying feedback to continuously improve coding skills and standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in backend services and API interactions.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks and bugs in the backend system.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, particularly in mobile backend technologies.
• Engage in technical discussions, asking questions to enhance understanding of mobile backend systems and Java development.
• Work closely with senior developers, mobile developers, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Provide clear communication on progress, challenges, and ideas for improving backend performance and reliability.

About Your Experience and Skills

University or college degree with specialization in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent.

0-2 years of experience in software development, particularly in Java backend development.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java and experience with Spring Boot framework.

Proactive mindset with a positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership , and team mentality.
