Tasks :

  • Program, test, and commission Siemens PLC and HMI systems for automated machines and production plants.
  • Develop and implement control system software for new installations and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support during the startup, testing, and commissioning of automated systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems, identify faults, and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Review and interpret electrical schematics and documentation to support programming and system integration.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure the seamless integration of PLC and HMI systems into the overall automation solution.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to PLC programs, system configurations, and control logic.
  • Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance teams on the operation of PLC-controlled systems.
  • Ensure all programming and system operations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of PLC-controlled systems.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens PLC programming and HMI software, including commissioning and startup of automated systems.
  • Proficient in Siemens PLC programming languages.
  • Strong experience with HMI software and the integration of HMI systems with PLCs.
  • Ability to consult technical documentation and electrical schematics in English.
  • Solid understanding of control systems, automation processes, and industrial standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in the context of automated systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
