Senior Frontend Engineer (React 19 / Next.js 15)

An international cybersecurity and telco security firm is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to drive the development of real-time dashboards used to monitor and control thousands of connected devices. The role is based in Budapest with a hybrid model (2–3 days onsite).

Description

You will design and deliver high-performance user interfaces using React 19 and Next.js 15’s App Router. This includes building data-dense charts, tables, and visualizations, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining design consistency. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers to shape API contracts and ensure smooth real-time data streaming.

Requirements

• 5+ years in modern frontend development; 3+ with React
• Production experience with Next.js (App Router)
• Strong TypeScript and state management experience (Zustand / Redux / RxJS)
• Skilled in WebSockets / SSE for real-time data
• Proficiency with TailwindCSS or similar
• Strong testing background (unit / e2e automation)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Nice to have : Experience with D3 / WebGL, GraphQL subscriptions, or offline-first apps.
