A Senior Full Stack Engineer in our organization brings strong software engineering expertise first but also comes with a strong mentoring mindset to support engineering teams and work closely with our engineering leadership. SEON relies on a product-led growth approach.

Our Customer Platform Team is the heart of SEON : we develop core services supporting the whole system of SEON and the primary customer-facing application. We're continuously adding new features to improve the UX and workflow for our customers and their fraud analysis capabilities. This mission involves core product functions such as backend and frontend development, R&D, design, and database development.

This role offers flexibility and is based in our Budapest office with a hybrid work schedule.

• At least 7 + years experience in fullstack software engineering (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, REST, RDBMS)
• Agile & iterative mindset (end-to-end responsibility; you build it, you run it)
• End to end ownership from product requirements, planning, implementation and rollout
• Strong experience in automated tests
• Strong experience in performance optimization
• Knowledge & understanding of IT security
• Experience in designing modular systems and refactoring / decoupling monoliths, working with microservices
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture
• Experience in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Experience in continuous integration and delivery
• Experience working in self organizing cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in mentoring senior and mid-weight colleagues
• English Language Proficiency
• Experience in pair programming, TDD and Trunk Based Development (pro)
• Experience in AWS (pro)
