Join our newly established IT Department at Infineon Technologies' Budapest office, a key hub for our global competence center in IT infrastructure, integration, and security. As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and operating our global monitoring infrastructure, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide.We're on a mission to revolutionize the way we are monitoring our Infineon IT-Systems and Infrastructure, and we are looking for a talented System Engineer to join our team to help us designing, building, and optimizing our global monitoring platform.
In your new role you will :
- Develop and execute plans for system upgrades, migrations, and integrations , ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime of our Zabbix-based monitoring systems within our worldwide distributed datacenters
- Automate and continuously improve all technical processes utilizing Ansible and Rundeck to drive efficiency
- Operate and troubleshoot our monitoring systems, using your analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues in collaboration with our MySQL-Database, Linux-Server and Container-Platform teams
- Provide consultation to set up best-practice Monitoring configurations, Grafana-Dashboards and Alerting for our Infineon internal customers
- Utilize scripting languages to automate tasks, improve efficiency and implement data pipelines

You are best equipped for this task if you have :
Completed IT training (apprenticeship in IT, university, etc.) with professional experience, or completed university degree in computer science (alternatively mathematics, physics with IT relevance) or have appropriate further training / relevant experience as an IT specialistAt least 1-3 years of working experienceGood knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems : Linux, Kubernetes (Openshift, Docker)Good knowledge in any database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle or ElasticScripting experience with Bash / Python / Javascript , understanding and / or reading code in C#Good level of English proficiencyBenefits
