BYD Europe BV located in Schiedam, Netherlands is the marketing and sales HQ of BYD Co., Ltd based in Shenzhen, China. BYD Europe BV offers a full line of BYD electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, all-electric buses, and all-electric forklift trucks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters for the Hungarian entity.
- Coordinate closely with the existing Hungary-based SSC team for local HR operations and administrative support.
- Establish and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Hungarian labor laws.
- Coordinate with our HQ HR team (Netherlands / China) to implement corporate HR practices in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding.
- Handle employment contracts, employee documentation, and HR administration with SSC team’ support.
- Assist in coordinating payroll and benefits with external providers and SSC team.
- Support local employee relations, workplace compliance, and health & safety policies.
- Contribute to culture building and employee experience in a growing cross-cultural environment.
- Support local office setup from HR / people perspective (if applicable).
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or specialist role, preferably in an international company.Good understanding of Hungarian labor law and HR practices.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently in a start-up environment.Fluency in Hungarian and English (both written and spoken) is required.Experience working with Chinese companies or in a multicultural setting is a plus.Location : Hungary, Budapest
