Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities : JOB PURPOSE :

The payroll specialist is responsible for the payroll process and point of contact within the HR department and joint point of contact with all employees regarding payroll queries for the countries he / she is responsible for.

YOUR ACTIVITIES :

• Ensure accurate wage, tax, and deduction calculations
• Manage dependents for tax and benefits
• Main contact for outsourced payroll solution
• Manage interface and SLAs with payroll provider
• Ensure delivery of net pay and third-party payments
• Coordinate with government agencies for payroll matters
• Perform quarterly account reconciliations and year-end activities
• Support payroll forecasting and budgeting
• Provide monthly payroll and statistical reports
• Prepare accruals for accounting and controlling
• Review and transfer Payroll GL files, prepare postings
• Prepare statutory returns and reports on employee compensation and leave
• Internal contact for payroll-related queries, wage tax and social security queries from employees
