MarketSight Lead .NET Software Engineer

This is a lead technical role for the MarketSight team at Dynata. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in designing and implementing features in the MarketSight application and furthering integrations with Dynata's product suite and common services. As an engineering lead, the responsibilities include code reviews, application integrity and best practices, and stewardship towards a modern service-oriented architecture in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers to review software requirements, build product features, implement bug fixes, and respond to client issues.
• Direct the design and implementation of software components for the MarketSight application.
• Help define new features and establish the product roadmap with participation in estimation, prioritization, and scheduling.
• Oversee technical support escalations into the MarketSight developer team and prioritization of bug fixes.
• Provide general management, performance feedback, and time-off scheduling to engineers.
• Leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and on-boarding of new team members to build a high performing team.
• Guide application development towards modern design patterns and frameworks.
• Develop and direct security procedures and safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive information, including internal circulation of client data.
• Work with other Dynata engineers to further integration of common services and inter-application workflows.
• Support AWS hosting deployments of MarketSight across several regions.
• Support clients with private hosting on MarketSight.
• Work to understand the vision of the company and express that vision in products and technology to meet the needs of the company, partners, and clients.
