Chief Accountant

Chief Accountant role is open at our multinational partner, who is a leading company specialized in transportation, e-commerce and business services. Our client provides remote work opportunity with 2 office days a month. Responsibilities : Partial administration of incoming invoices (cost allocation for non-trade invoices) Accounts receivable management Monthly margin checks for transportation tasks Initiating customer and subcontractor registration (in cooperation with SSC) Cash flow planning Bank-related tasks (approving bank transfers, posting customs duties and payroll) Supplementing US GAAP accounting with payroll, accruals, and customs bank postings Preparing monthly reports and account reconciliations Reposting US GAAP entries to Local GAAP using accounting software Ensuring consistency between the two sets of books Managing the full audit process Preparing business plans and monthly / quarterly forecasts Performing ad-hoc tasks as required Requirements : Fluent English (direct supervisor is international) Certified accountant registered in Hungary Higher education degree Strong Excel skills 3–5 years of experience in finance Adaptability Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and taxation Flexibility Strong problem-solving skills The company offers : Flexible work environment / remote work opportunity (2 office days / months) Attractive benefit package, including yearly bonus, cafeteria International work environment
