Role background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and were best known for our food delivery platform. We launched in Hungary in and have now grown to over 40 cities. We are growing rapidly and are now looking for an Operations Associate to join our Operations team in Budapest.

In the Operations Team, we focus on our courier partners : We ensure the right amount of courier partners to meet the order demand by constantly developing courier partner satisfaction and smooth, scalable processes.

As an Operations Associate, you will play a huge part in ensuring that our courier supply size is going into the right direction while each courier partner gets the right help, support and a world-class experience throughout their Wolt journey. In your role, this means that you will be responsible for the intern teams work, who is responsible for the live support of our courier partner candidates through their onboarding. This entails everything from managing courier gear procurement and communication with external partners to preparing weekly intern schedules and monitoring their performance. Working in a fast and dynamic environment, it is important to be a team player and also to have the ability to figure out what to do rather than wait to be told. Managing our great courier partners requires a can-do attitude, as there are some routine tasks that require our attention.

In this pursuit, we aim to create the Worlds best courier experience by optimizing processes, bettering content, and assuring that we have as little friction as possible.

What youll be doing :

• You will have to support your decision making with relevant data, find broken pieces and fields to develop, understand relations and consequences to have proper action points in your role.
• You will improve our current processes, implement and maintain new ones and create new best practices for our operations.
• You will ensure the required headcount in our intern team by supporting the hiring process in case of new joiners.
• You will manage the onboarding process of our interns at the beginning of their Wolt career.
• You will maintain the schedule of our onboarding interns to make sure there is enough workforce to tackle challenges.
• You will monitor the performance of our onboarding intern team by building and running our QA system.
• You will be responsible for the logistics of our courier gear procurement and storage.
