About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android STB Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the initial investigation and triage of reported issues, as well as the execution of test plans to validate software functionality and identify defects within Android STB environments. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to streamline the issue resolution process and contribute significantly to our overall quality assurance efforts. This position requires a deep understanding of Android TV systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for technology, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage reported issues related to Android STB devices.
• Execute comprehensive test plans to validate software functionality and identify defects.
• Collaborate effectively with development and QA teams to resolve issues efficiently and ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze logs, network data, and system dumps to diagnose complex problems and identify root causes.
• Participate actively in release validation and monitoring to ensure the stability and performance of new releases.
• Apply scripting for automation to improve triage and testing processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
• Document triage workflows, known issues, and resolutions meticulously for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Triage / analyze product issues and delegate to 3rd party solutions (SoC / App / OEM etc).
