Job descriptionMinimum 3 years of experience in data engineering and backend development Deep knowledge of ETL / ELT pipelines, distributed systems, and data architecture Strong experience with API integrations, database design, and cloud infrastructure Proven ability to work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets A strategic mindset capable of influencing product and platform direction Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Programming languages : SQL, Python, Java, Go, Rust. We’re partnering with a cutting-edge technology company that’s reimagining how brands understand, source, and activate data. They’re building the future of marketing data intelligence and looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design and scale the systems that make it possible.
Please note that this is a B2B contract position and the office is based in Budapest.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable backend data infrastructure
- Design and build robust ETL / ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Develop data integration frameworks merging APIs, web data, and third-party platforms into a unified intelligence layer
- Collaborate with product teams to create advanced data systems that power new marketing intelligence capabilities
- Define and promote best practices in data modeling, system design, and data engineering.
