I&C Design and Commissioning Engineer - Steam Turbine

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of a highly motivated team and as an engineer you will make a significant contribution to the successful project execution of our modernization projects. You will master interesting technical challenges within a project team and work closely with the project management. You will have the opportunity to modernize existing systems with the latest technology updates, integrate innovative functions and adapt them to current requirements.

You will work with our customers on global modernization projects across all project phases, from supporting the person responsible for the offer to handing over the project to the customer and playing a key role in shaping the path to a sustainable energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Engineering and execution of modernization projects on Steam Turbines and Synchronous condenser
• Execution of all project phases, including regular monitoring of the project for deviations (costs, schedule, quality) in close coordination with project management
• Creation of Instrumentation & Controls concepts for the modernization of control technology on Steam Turbines and Synchronous condenser
• Development of project-specific software solutions for turbine protection and control
• Engineering of the control technology, performance of functional tests and commissioning
• Responsible for the technical planning and coordination of internal and external partners (customers, suppliers, production, international engineering, etc.)
