The One Mission Society Europe region has a vision to transform lives in dynamic communities. You'll serve in your area of focus while being part of localized summer ministry experiences. You'll also be poured into by a team of missionaries as you learn more about your gifts and passions. Our hope for this experience is that you will grow in your relationship with God, expand your skill set, be more prepared to disciple people from other cultures, and perhaps discern a long-term call to missions and ministry.

Do you have a passion for connecting with young people through camp ministry? In Hungary, you will work with our community impact team implementing all facets of our summer English camps, including preparation, teaching, and leading conversation groups. You will also participate in general ministry as you host foreign volunteer teams and work with our partner churches to complete assigned work projects.

Responsibilities

• Be able to have fun with teenagers and build rapport.
• Help plan, teach, and lead English lessons and activities.
• Assist students during study times and exercises.
• Lead an English conversation group using pre-designed materials and flexible format.
• Be willing to share your testimony and beliefs in an honest and friendly way.
• Must be willing to participate in several Zoom calls prior to trip to discuss expectations and process.
• Complete other assigned ministry projects.

During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, build relationships with youth and young adults, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship and communicating your testimony.
