Test automation engineer @ GG Development Kft.

We are currently looking for a Test automation engineer for one of the long-running adventures of GG Development.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to design and execute test strategies for the automated tests of a mobile application, while also diving into unit and integration testing. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery. Beyond test automation, you will actively contribute to  fostering a quality-first mindset within the team , helping to embed best practices and making sure that quality is considered at every stage of development.

• At least a BSc degree in computer science
• 2+ years of experience in test automation , with experience related to event-driven systems and Kafka test scenarios
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, UAT, exploratory)
• Strong coding skills in at least one relevant language (Java, Python, JavaScript) to write and extend unit, component and integration tests
• Experience with integrating automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, …)
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile / Scrum practices
• Ability to create clear and comprehensive test documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think like an end-user
• Good communication skills to work across dev and QA teams
• Fluent in Hungarian, both written and spoken
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
