Stadtentwässerung Frankfurt am Main is a service-oriented in-house operation of the City of Frankfurt am Main. We operate the two largest wastewater treatment plants in Hesse as well as an incineration plant for sewage sludge treatment and an extensive sewer network with various stormwater tanks and pumping stations.

With our team of technicians, craftsmen and administrators, we ensure that the wastewater treatment plants are operated economically and reliably. We develop these according to the state of the art and thus sustainably secure our water resources. We make an important contribution to improving these valuable ecosystems through the near-natural development and maintenance of Frankfurt's waterways.

For the "Wastewater Treatment Operations" department, we are looking for a : n

Engineer (f / m / d) Process control system and safety infrastructure

Full-time, part-time

EGr. 12 TVöD

Your tasks include :

• Independent support of the hardware and software of the central process control technology for the wastewater treatment plants and for the sludge incineration plant, taking IT security into account
• Participation in program and data maintenance of the central process control system
• Creating, monitoring and updating the IT security concept for the central process control system in accordance with the latest BSI guidelines for critical infrastructures
• Updating and monitoring the basic hardening of the process control systems in accordance with the latest hardening guidelines as per the BDEW white paper
• Project coordination of various difficult expansion / extension projects in Sindlingen, Niederrad and Griesheim while maintaining ongoing operations
• Coordination of difficult construction work on expansion / extension projects with operational issues and other operational projects in the field of automation and control technology
• Independent and responsible project management for construction measures that are planned or locally monitored by third parties
• Administration of the network and network connection, planning, operation and monitoring of the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall) including analysis of the security measures used
• Checking invoices for difficult contracts awarded
• Participation in the preparation of business plans
• Monitoring construction invoices and construction loans as well as subsequent claims for funds
