Job Description

Managing daily validation of energy trades within the ETRM system, ensuring all deals are validated within a specified timeframe
Ensuring all deals follow the agreed deal booking policies whilst monitoring the different deal statuses to maintain accurate records in the ETRM system
Communicate with stakeholders to clarify deal validation findings and address inquiries
Assist in resolving trade-related discrepancies in coordination with various teams
Supporting complex business flows – LNG, storage, cross-border capacity
Deliver daily MO reports, including internal data reconciliations
Active participation in monthly closing processes – reconciliation between trading system and accounting
Work closely with BO, FO, Finance & Treasury teams
Collaborate with IT teams to address system-related issues and contribute to system enhancements
Ad-hoc building of new reports and monitoring tools

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or Engineering.

3+ years’ experience in Middle Office, Trade Validation, or Risk Control within energy trading

Proficiency in ETRM systems (Endur, Allegro, OpenLink), Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables, Macros), and familiarity with SQL / Python is a plus.

Strong understanding of deal booking, trade validation, reconciliation, and risk management. Experience with LNG, gas storage, and cross-border capacity advantageous

Experience working closely with Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Treasury, and IT teams

Strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication, and ability to resolve trade discrepancies

Fluency in English is mandatory
