About this Position
What you´ll do
Operational Leadership : Lead, manage, and improve the market operations function, ensuring efficient execution of end-to-end processes in Hungary
Market Strategy Execution : Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement market strategies that align with the company’s objectives and growth targets
Team Management : Lead and develop high-performing team, ensuring alignment of departmental goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Supply Chain & Distribution : Manage supply chain operations to ensure timely product availability at optimal costs and distribution to all customer
Cost Management : Monitor and manage operational budgets, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, demand planning, controlling, and other key functions to ensure efficient S&OP process, successful alignment and execution of business strategy
Customer meetings : Drive collaboration and ensure a successful partnership with key customers
Data-Driven Decision Making : Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve operations
Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure all operations comply with regional regulatory requirements and company policies, mitigating any potential risks
Performance Metrics & Reporting : Steer and achieve defined KPIs to reach operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and reporting results to senior management
What makes you a good fit
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in operations, planning & management
Proven experience of FMCG business
People management experience
Proven track record in leading large, complex operational teams across diverse markets
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, to manage high workload
Strong knowledge of market dynamics, supply chain management, logistics, and distribution networks
Personal drive and ability to challange status quo
Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements, cost reductions, and enhance overall market performance
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence at senior levels and across functions
Experience in conflict management
Ability to work on various tasks in parallel
Business fluent English language skills, Hungarian language knowledge is an advantage
