Your future team at BER will take care of everything related to the Windows server world, storage and the airport's data centers. Our goal is to provide a stable and secure basic infrastructure for BER Airport and to further develop it in line with requirements.

Your task will be to further develop the existing approaches for operating a secure cloud environment in conjunction with our on-premise services together with the team in order to provide a modern, flexible infrastructure for our customers. Furthermore, you will always be offered new exciting challenges in your daily business due to the broad, multi-faceted infrastructure of the airport.

Areas of responsibility

  • Strategic and technological further development of the (cloud) basic infrastructure, deriving requirements from the IT strategy, IT security and market and technology development
  • Planning, implementation, integration, commissioning, operation, maintenance and documentation of IT systems in compliance with operational, regulatory, commercial and procedural requirements
  • Analysis and advice on requirements from the specialist departments
  • Mapping of business processes using IT systems, taking into account functional and non-functional requirements and cost-effectiveness

Requirements

  • Completed specialist training with extensive professional experience or an academic degree in the field of computer science
  • Team and communication skills
  • Service and solution orientation, always with a focus on our customers
  • Very good knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Cloud environment : Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Purview, Azure CLI and Microsoft Graph CLI
  • Very good knowledge and experience in the field of automation
  • Good knowledge and experience in the Windows Server environment : AD, DNS, DHCP, certification authorities and PowerShell are desirable
  • Good knowledge in the areas of network technology (OSI model, TCP / IP), storage and server technology
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards, legislation e.g. KRITIS, BSI basic protection and ITIL is desirable
  • Specialist knowledge of English
  • Driving license class B
