About this Position
We are seeking a Team Lead – Transport Coordinator (Air & Sea) to join our growing logistics team. This position plays a critical role in managing and supervising the daily operations of international transport coordination via air and sea freight, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while leading a small team of coordinators. The ideal candidate has a strong background in international logistics, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
What you´ll do
- Lead and supervise the Air & Sea Transport Coordination team, ensuring smooth daily operations and optimal performance
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the shipment of goods via air & sea, including booking freight, managing schedules, and coordinating with carriers
- Liaise with internal teams (warehouse, customer service) and external partners (shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders) to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor shipment status, proactively address delays or issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Manage transportation documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and shipping manifests
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
- Optimize transport routes and costs while maintaining high service standards
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to air & sea transport operations
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skills and efficiency
