Senior Software Engineering Manager - Web Products

Munkaköri leírásLead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Own the technical vision and execution for Dashboard & Fleet Control, ensuring scalability, reliability, and ease of use. Partner with product management to define roadmaps, prioritize work, and deliver features that improve customer workflows. Ensure software quality and maintainability by driving best practices in testing, deployment, and automation. Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, hardware, and customer support teams to provide seamless integration across Formlabs products. Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, balancing speed, quality, and operational efficiency. Set clear goals and accountability for the team, measuring success through key performance indicators (KPIs). Key contributor to software architecture decisions on new products for both R&D and production development Coordinate with two remote software teams on release and project planning Full responsibility for hiring, growing, and retaining great talent Proven experience as a people manager and technical leader Strong background in full-stack development, with expertise in backend, frontend, and cloud-based systems. Experience in building and scaling web applications with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python (or similar, specific language is not a criteria). Knowledge of API development, distributed systems, and IoT-connected devices is a plus. Proven ability to coach and develop engineers, with a focus on technical growth and career development. Strong product sense and ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions. Passion for creating best-in-class software that delights users and drives business value. - Dashboard – seamlessly monitor, manage, and optimize their printing workflows and processes, including functionality that powers automation for large (100+) printer fleets, printing hundreds of thousands of parts per year, per installation.
- Developer platform, APIs – enabling users to maximize uptime, integrate with their workflows, and achieve true automation in their production processes.
We’re looking for a product-minded Senior Software Engineering Manager in Budapest to lead this team, drive technical excellence, scale our software infrastructure, and build customer-focused solutions.
