Our partner is an innovative IT consulting company , helping businesses navigate digital transformation through system optimization, custom development, and strategic IT consulting — delivering real value beyond solutions.

We are now seeking medior to senior professionals with 4-6+ years of experience for the following role :

PYTHON DEVELOPER

The role is fully remote , with occasional visits to the Budapest office.

Applications are welcome from both full-time employees and contractors .

About the role

Projects Overview – We are hiring for (parallel, with flexibility to reassign resources if needed) :

Project 1 :

  • Refactor cron-based services to event-driven using Python & message queues (NATS / Jetstream).
  • Integrate APIs, implement Kubernetes-based deployment.
  • Ensure secure, observable, and reliable production systems.

Project 2 :

  • Build onboarding APIs and scripts.
  • Manage Elasticsearch on Kubernetes, integrate HashiCorp Vault.
  • Set up CI / CD pipelines (Concourse CI or ArgoCD), monitoring / logging.

    • Project 3 :

  • Evaluate OpenSearch vs Elasticsearch in terms of features, performance, API compatibility.
  • Test SIEM capabilities and perform migration analysis.
  • Deliver a detailed feasibility report.

    • Project 4 :

  • Integrate OpenTelemetry & Kafka.
  • Automate deployments with Ansible, secure access with mTLS & Vault.
  • Build secure REST APIs for routing configs.

    • Requirements

    Common Tech Hard Skills (P1–P4)

  • Python (advanced, scripting, API development)
  • Kubernetes & containerization (Docker)
  • CI / CD (Argo CD or Concourse)
  • Security (auth, mTLS, Vault)
  • Monitoring & logging (Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
  • Version control (Git, GitOps)

    • Project-Specific Skills

    P1 :

  • Message queuing (NATS, Jetstream)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Elasticsearch (as a primary component)

    • P2 :

  • HashiCorp Vault
  • Concourse CI
  • Python automation and scripting

    • P3 :

  • Elasticsearch & OpenSearch expertise
  • SIEM, API & performance testing
  • Data migration
  • Cloud orchestration
  • Technical writing & project documentation
  • Data visualization

    • P4 :

  • OpenTelemetry, Kafka
  • Ansible
  • Python performance optimization
