Reporting Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and reporting, with expertise in Power BI, MS SQL, Oracle, and Python. This role will involve creating insightful reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes across the organization.

Your tasks :

Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including MS SQL and Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for reporting purposes.

Utilize Python for data analysis, automation of reporting processes, and integration with other data sources or APIs.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business improvements.

Ensure timely delivery of reports and dashboards, adhering to established deadlines and quality standards.

Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards.

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and reporting technologies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a reporting or data analysis role, with a strong portfolio of Power BI dashboards and reports.

Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server and Oracle) for data extraction and manipulation.

Experience with Python for data analysis and automation tasks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
