The Clinical IT Product Owner must provide functional support on IT systems to the Business, liaising especially with Clinical and Legal Teams at Affidea. He / she plays a key role in clinical IT projects, bridging the gap between IT and business needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Priority scope of work : strategic imaging vendors management. Specialties : Picture Archiving and Communication Systems ( PACS ) and Radiology Information Systems ( RIS) .
He / she understands strategic business needs and growth plans. He / she must be familiar with processes and regulations that Affidea needs to comply with. He / she manages demand and helps the business to prioritize.
He / she liaises between the IT department and the Clinical and Legal leadership. Acts as an information source and communicator between the business branches. He / she finds technological solutions to business requirements, analyses the business needs and boosts the design of technical systems and business models.
He / she utilizes IT data for business insights, business decisions and actions. He / she sources and implements new business technology. He / she enhances the quality of IT products and services and runs a continuous improvement program.
He / she oversees the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the clients’ needs and preferences. His / her main duties include determining the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items and deciding which features each product will have according to our clients’ preferences. He / she acts with an IT business partnership mindset, making sure the success criteria of each backlog items are properly defined. He / she presents the completed deliverables and get approval from the business stakeholders.
Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products
He / she collaborates with global commercial services partners and customers to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
He / she ensures that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
He / she works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design / user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
He / she turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes for the ultimate customer.
He / she works in a Hybrid environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
Works with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers.
Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
Research and analyse market, the users, and the roadmap for the Clinical products
Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.
Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 5 years, healthcare experience preferred
MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
PMI-CAPM certificate preferred
