Clario, a leader in endpoint data technology solutions for the clinical research industry, is expanding its operations in Budapest and seeks a Data Privacy Attorney.
In this role, you will be an individual contributor to the Data Privacy Team within Clario’s Legal Department and will support the ongoing implementation and improvement of Clario’s data privacy compliance program (“Program”).

What you'll do :
Lead annual monitoring activities to assess and improve compliance with Program requirementsManage Clario’s handling of data subject access requests (DSARs)Conduct data privacy risk assessments (DPIAs) and other risk analysesInvestigate, document, report, and respond to privacy incidentsManage Clario’s privacy email inbox and respond to inquiries, notifications, and other communicationsSupport client audits and requests for informationAssist with incorporating relevant legal / regulatory privacy compliance requirements into Program-related policies, standard operating procedures, and trainingsDraft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements with Clario’s customers and vendorsAdvise the business on its compliance obligations under GDPR, CCPA, China’s PIPL, ISO 27701, and other international privacy laws, regulations, and standardsProvide general support to Clario’s Data Protection Officer and the Data Privacy Team leadershipParticipate in meetings with customers and internal stakeholdersWhat we look for :
Law degree from an accredited institutionMembership in good standing with a national Bar association1 - 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to data privacy and security complianceExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishExcellent research and writing skillsAbility to manage and communicate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environmentEffective organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, and time management skillsAn in-depth understanding of GDPR, ISO27701, and international privacy lawExcellent judgment, attention to detail, communication and direct customer skills, plus the ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual contributorShould be able to travel domestically and internationally (~5-10%)At Clario, we put people first, always.
