About the Role

As a Business Controller, working closely with cozycozy’s CFO, you will provide key business insights to support data-driven decision-making and efficient growth. You will collaborate with multiple departments, ensuring transparency and developing reporting solutions. Your role will involve driving initiatives in financial planning and business intelligence to help achieve the company’s strategic goals.

Main responsibilities :

Participate in the monthly and quarterly financial closings, including analyzing and preparing data for financial reporting (revenue and expense reports, variance analysis, etc.).

Analyze weekly and monthly performance, identify potential risks to target and forecast achievement, and monitor the implementation of action plans.

Develop and utilize financial analyses and models, including long-term projections, to inform strategic business decisions.

Participate in the development of management dashboards by understanding business stakeholder reporting needs and providing relevant, accurate analytics.

Cooperate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, CRM, and operations.

Drive comprehensive business planning and conduct regular plan reviews, ensuring collaboration with relevant leaders.

Proactively identify and propose improvements to business processes.

Liaise with the external accountants to manage the accounting close, including payroll, tax, and operating expenses.

You are the right candidate for us if you :

hold a university degree in a relevant field (finance, accounting, or economics);

possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in business controlling;

are fluent in English, both written and spoken;

demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced Excel

proficiency (Database proficiency is an advance (SQL, etc.));

exhibit strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and

maintain effective relationships;

possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability

to collaborate effectively within a team;

are capable of delivering accurate and timely results under pressure and strict

deadlines;

are familiar with Pennylane software (or similar).
