Currently we are looking for

AWS GLUE DEVELOPER - CONTRACTING (JT)

Location : Budapest,hybrid (2 days office)

Salary : competitive

Type of employment : contracting

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement ETL processes using AWS Glue.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, technical leads and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage AWS Glue jobs and workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features to leverage them in solutions.

Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in AWS Glue, including Glue ETL jobs, Glue Data Catalog, and Glue Crawlers.
  • Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Athena, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.
  • Job orchestration and Scheduling : AWS Glue workflows, AWS Step Functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Python / PySpark.
  • Expertise in SQL and database management.
  • Knowledge of Python or Scala for ETL scripting.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with data integration and transformation tools.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.
