What you’ll do :
At SAP Emarsys, we are leaders in omni-channel engagement and personalization, driving innovation and delivering at high velocity. We are expanding our target customer segment to cover a greater portion of the SAP Installed Base, including increasingly complex enterprise customers and diverse industries across multiple business models (B2C, B2B, D2C).
We are looking for a highly experienced Product Manager / Product Leader to help to decisively shape the future of the Emarsys product. You will take ownership of the vision, strategy, and prioritization of a major product area within the Emarsys platform and have people management responsibilities.
You are experienced with the full spectrum of product management, including product discovery, requirements management, roadmap definition, prioritization, and successful product rollout. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders beyond engineering such as GTM teams, Product Marketing, and Service & Support is part of your daily routine.
Additionally, you excel at preparing effective communications tailored for internal stakeholders, senior management, and customer-facing interactions. As a Product Director on our team, you will manage and drive highly complex product initiatives that can span multiple teams, balancing potentially competing priorities and dependencies. Your ability to effectively plan, navigate, and resolve challenges in such complex environments will enable us to deliver timely innovations with lasting impact for our customers.

The Role :
Own and create strategy and market requirements documents for your product domain
Create a roadmap, semester, and cycle release plan for your product domain
Lead and grow a high-performing product manager team (disciplinary responsibility)
Manage risk related to your domain
Rollout new product capabilities as part of the release cadence
Support pricing updates in your domain
Show full domain expertise and thoughtleadership for your domain
Engage and support initiatives across Emarsys product beyond your domain supporting our overall vision
Own and drive selected product Initiatives across P&E and partner with customer-facing teams for pricing, launch and rollout initiatives
Support management reporting and product positioning
Support product-led customer facing events (e.g., Customer Advisory Boards)
Support and drive selected strategic customer escalations or initiatives (beta programs, co-innovations projects).
What you bring :
8+ years of experience as a product manager
Ability to facilitate a common understanding of different stakeholders on projects, manage their expectations, and challenge them
Proven leadership experience – at least managing a small team but possibly a whole product function
Self-motivation, pro-activeness and can-do attitude
Ability to abstract
Excellent in business communication and presentation skills
Professional business acumen
Ability to lead with quality and empathy
Resilience in stressful periods
Profound knowledge across product management toolbox (incl. Jira, Agile development, dual-track planning and execution)
Knowledge of Marketing Technology is a plus
Knowledge of SAP platform technologies or SAP CX portfolio is a plus
Very good Business Proficiency in English is a must

The product and UX team with in P&E incl. ~60 colleagues and is present in the following locations : Budapest, Vienna, Walldorf, Indianapolis, and Montreal.
