Our partner operates Europe's largest and most efficient bioethanol plant. Leveraging engineering expertise in ethanol production, the company is actively diversifying into new product streams using grain-based biotechnology. The successful candidate for this role will be part of the Controlling team.

Job description

• Participation in business planning
• Comparing temporary performance with the accepted plans, preparing statistics and analytical summaries about the differences
• Taking part in the elaboration of guiding principles
• Controlling the implementation of strategic, business and cash flow plans and preparing the relevant reports on a monthly or quarterly basis
• Involvement in the preparation of annual accounting reports
• Preparing statistics and analyses related to costs
• Making first cost calculations and conducting profitability analysis.
• Involvement in the development and operation of the index system describing the business model of the company.
• Supporting the company’s management by providing advice, analyses and information necessary for decision-making.
• Participation in CAPEX projects
• Management of financial master data
• Making proposals on cost reduction

Requirements

• College or university degree in economics
• At least 5-year experience as a financial controller at

a manufacturing company

• Analytical thinking
• Systematic approach
• Proficiency in MS-Excel
