Your Impact
- You develop and implement a global category strategy aligned with business objectives, cost targets, and risk mitigation
- You lead supplier negotiations and manage strategic relationships to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and innovation
- You conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations to inform competitive sourcing decisions
- You drive cost savings, monitor financial performance, and report key procurement metrics to senior leadership
- You ensure compliance with procurement policies, global regulations, sustainability and ESG initiatives
- You collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams and stakeholders to align and execute procurement strategies
- You lead, mentor, and develop category teams to ensure effective execution and continuous improvement
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management in a global manufacturing environmentDemonstrated success in developing and executing category strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and delivering cost savingsProven ability to manage global suppliers and influence cross-functional teams without direct authorityStrong financial and analytical skills, including experience in budget ownership and cost driver analysisFluency in English and preferably in German, as well as a willingness to travel both domestically and internationallyYour Benefits (for employment in Hungary)

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés and a shopping center are also located around the office.
