About the role :
The ITS Reporting Expert is a member of the ITS Corporate Functions team and works transversely across Corporate Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other functions. This position collaborates in the transformation and simplification of the Finance Applications landscape. This role is responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of standard core models to support the rollout of a global strategy. It requires strong knowledge of financial systems and data processes related to various Finance teams and other functions, providing accurate solutions to build interfaces and analyze data for creating reports and dashboards within global applications. The main interactions of this role are primarily with the Finance community. From both technological and functional perspectives, the role interacts with Architects, Project Managers, Business Key Users, and Sponsors, focusing on simplification, harmonization, and cost optimization. The role involves working on projects and managing topics, ensuring continuity and flexibility in applications.
Main responsibilities :
Acts as a counsellor / advisor throughout the entire life cycle (study, plan, design, build, run) of solutions primarily related to Finance.
Participates in the delivery of project elements.
Supports legal entities during audits and inspections by extracting, analyzing, and presenting data from different systems.
Provides and ensures a broad and strategic vision and understanding of Finance applications, aligned with the Company Strategy.
Owns standards and practices related to technical and business processes concerning finance systems.
Actively contributes to transforming the Operational Model to excellence by :
Facilitating risk management
Conducting or contributing to root cause problem-solving through analysis and proposing enhancements
Contributing to implementation and driving sustainable action plans
Requirements :
Professional experience, education, and knowledge :
5+ years of experience working with Corporate Performance Management tools (e.g., TM1) and data warehouse solutions (SAP BW)
Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
Expertise in financial processes
Knowledge of data architecture and components for global solutions is a plus
Both technical and functional background for data manipulation
Languages : Fluent in English
Major competences and skills :
Development, reporting, and analytical abilities (TM1 & BW)
Project management skills are a plus
General understanding of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and mindset
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficient in delivering effective solutions within tight deadlines
Attention to detail and precision, with strong work ethics regarding meeting deadlines and reliability
