Our partner , a global life sciences company and one of the top players in the research and diagnostics space, is expanding its Budapest-based team and looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager . This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a multilingual regional team and shape customer service operations across several countries.
Job description
Lead and support 4 direct reports (supervisors) managing approx. 30+ customer service professionals across the UK, France, Spain, and Portugal.
Oversee day-to-day order management , ensuring accuracy, on-time processing, and high customer satisfaction.
Be the escalation point for complex cases, working closely with sales and supply chain teams.
Monitor and improve performance through KPI tracking , BI reports , and advanced Excel analytics.
Use your SAP (E1P) experience to drive process improvements and resolve order-related issues.
Act as a coach and mentor—help your team grow through continuous development and supportive leadership .
Lead internal projects related to customer experience , tools, and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a seamless order-to-delivery journey .
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a Customer Service or SSC environment.
A hands-on, people-focused leader who can motivate and empower teams.
Fluent English is a must; French or other second language is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (E1P), BI reporting , CRM tools , and Excel .
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Experience in e-commerce, online order management, or multinational settings is highly valued.
