Job description

  • Support the transition of General Ledger processes from
  • European entities to Hungary and actively shape a new SSC

    in Budapest

  • Responsible for periodical Finance closing processes
  • Asset accounting and IFRS 16 lease accounting
  • Accruals and provisions booking
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation with subledger
  • Ad hoc reports
  • Preparation of journal documentation for internal-external audit request
  • Intrastat reporting
  • Proactive collaboration with AP and AR departments
  • Participate in projects assigned to the role (incl. Process
  • optimization support).

  • Follow rules and regulations and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies and procedures
  • Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders to
  • develop a professional relationship

    Requirements

  • University degree  preferably in Economics or Finance with major in accounting or equivalent qualification
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting (primarily GL in a SSC environment) is an advantage
  • Transition experience is beneficial
  • Good understanding of the  GL processes
  • Continuous Improvement and Quality mindset
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Good  English  and Spanish  language skills (written and spoken)
  • Very good knowledge of  SAP Fi is a Plus
