We are looking for an Aircraft Simulator Development Engineer!
Since 2016, Propair Flight has been developing virtual aircraft and airports, software solutions, and cloud-based data analytics systems for flight simulators. As a member of the AXIS Aviation Group, our goal is to improve flight safety and make pilot training more efficient by developing top-tier full flight and VR simulators.
Our new colleague will work on a range of development areas related to EASA FFS Level D devices and VR / MR simulators—the pinnacle of simulation technology – including the development of instruments, aircraft systems, and aerodynamic models. Development projects conclude with on-site testing at the simulator's delivery location.
We are looking for an Aircraft Simulator Development Engineer to join us immediately for the following role :
Responsibilities
- Development system models, and instruments for Full Flight simulators in the Matlab / Simulink environment
- Evaluation of flight test data and its application in model development
- Development, maintenance, and updating of simulation tools
- Collaborating with other teams to design new features and interfaces
You are an ideal candidate if you have :
Solid knowledge of Matlab / SimulinkAt least 3 years relevant work experienceAn interest in aircraft systemsProfessional English skills—technical and conversationalStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively both independently and in a teamA proactive attitude towards challengesCreative thinking and an innovative approach to development processesEngineering educationNot required, but considered a plus :
Previous experience with aircraft systems and instrumentationBasic knowledge of Python and C++Aerospace engineering degreeWhat is it like working with us?
