Position Overview

This role is for a passionate and experienced DevOps engineer, wanting to sharpen their skills and spread their knowledge in an environment with a mixture of modern tools and practices (Trunk Based Development, Containerization, CI / CD). The engineer will need to :

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise the latest automation, scripting and CI / CD platforms and approaches.
• Take part in both greenfield (e.g. AWS migration) and legacy projects.
• Assist with various AWS migration projects as we move products out of our own datacenters
• Passionately but pragmatically engage in Agile and DevOps principles and practices.
• Contribute to the quality assurance / testing strategy by defining test points and quality gates for QA teams.
• Engage in an open, collaborative, trust based culture. Promote Diligent values.  Value a culture of team excellence over individual productivity.
• Engage in communication and collaboration between Development, QA, Operations, Engineering, and other technology groups, to ensure regular smooth delivery of working software to production.
• Mentor other engineers.
