Group Fuel Market Regional Coordinator
Who will act as the key contact between Fuel Business Unit and relevant Subsidiaries’ Supply and Wholesale teams, ensuring two-way communication to be able to coordinate that market opportunities are paired with the best possible available supply option, in order to maximize Group fuel P&L. The person will liaise with all local fuel product teams, business stakeholders and partners to support execution of fuel strategy, customer experience journey and efficiency programs.
Main Tasks :
- Act as a point of contact between Group Fuel Business Unit and Subsidiaries’ Supply and Wholesales teams and ensure two-way communication
Be the key, extended member of local commercial organizations in the Group DS Fuels
Apply local Fuel market knowledge in the Group to drive margin generation decisions and actions in fuels business, including but not limited to customer portfolio management, discount policies, assets, market dynamics, competitorsCoordinate execution of Group Fuel Direction through actions together with local Supply and Sales teams and monitor them via autonomously established reporting systems focusing on P&L drivers (intra-month, monthly, annual data analysis)Manage commercial data inputs for the monthly Tactical Plan and the annual Business Plan for the relevant market considering local fuel strategic actions as well as Group Fuel profit targetsDevelop comprehensive understanding of the key performance indicators across the full value chain of Fuels including depot markups, sales volumes, key customers, variable costs and fixed cost structure and initiate efficiency, process improvement projectsProvide support to the margin generation decision-making by preparing autonomously initiated, or requested analyses including proposals, comprehensive solution options and present findings to the Subsidiaries’ and Group Fuels ManagementEnsure continuous search for and execution of sales margin revenue enhancement opportunitiesParticipate in annual negotiations with Key Accounts on relevant local markets ensuring Group Fuel Direction implementation by active alignment with Subsidiaries’ Supply and Wholesales ManagersTake part in Group and Local fuel-related project works, represent the specific professional field in projects with focus of strategic and customer journey experience programsCoordinate work and ensure knowledge development of the dedicated to the relevant markets Junior Expert colleaguesRequirements
University degree in field of Economics, Engineering, Finance or other relevant studyMinimum 5 years of work experience in sales and / or business operations, preferred in Downstream or ConsultingKnowledge of export-import activities, commodity tradingAnalytical skills and critical thinkingExcellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable to deal with a large and diverse pool of stakeholdersAbility to work well under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlinesA result-oriented self-starter, who performs in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentAgile, quick learner and diligent team playerUser-level computer skills (MS Office applications) – advanced Excel and PowerPointFull command of English language (written and spoken); Fluent knowledge of one additional CEE language (e.g. German, Slovakian, Romanian) is an advantageWillingness to travel up-to 20% (Driver’s license category B)Project management experience is also a favored addition to the above skillsetTop reasons to work with us :
