Supplier Development Tooling Lead Engineer

What will your responsibilities be?

• Conduct on-site PLA at supplier plants
• Analyze and verify all production phases (Plastic injection, Parts checking and control processes, Process logistics, Other operations)
• Identify cost-saving opportunities from a tooling / technical perspective
• Perform on-site controls of the production process (maintenance and storage)
• Assess real conditions of tools, produced parts, and tool shots
• Support throughout the product life cycle
• Continuous Improvement / Supplier development
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify improvement ideas and solutions
• Focus on cost reduction activities
• Create and manage a database containing 3D data for all tools and production devices
