As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. As a Contract Logistics Customer Service Specialist, you will be the central link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and information across the supply chain. Your role encompasses end-to-end logistics coordination—from order intake and production control to transport management and customer service. You will manage SAP processes, monitor supply chain performance, lead improvement initiatives, and act as the primary point of contact for logistics-related topics. With a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, you will drive operational excellence and support strategic logistics projects across the business.

How you create impact

  • Order & Demand Management : Monitor SAP systems and customer portals for forecasts and orders, validate volume data, align with customers on demand changes, and submit order confirmations as needed.
  • Supplier & Production Coordination : Manage automated and manual order transfers to internal and external suppliers, support Master Production Scheduling (MPS), and ensure timely order confirmations.
  • Transport & Delivery Execution : Organize and control transport processes, ensure timely dispatch and arrival of goods, and coordinate with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery deviations.
  • System & Data Accuracy : Ensure accuracy of logistics data in systems (., ASN, stock, STOAC IN / OUT), maintain SAP master data, and support updates related to transport times and ordering concepts.
  • Customer Service & Claims Management : Act as the logistics interface for customers, manage claims, support reporting, and assist in Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory processes.
  • Invoicing & Financial Support : Trigger system or manual invoices and support the resolution of debit / credit notes with customers.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement : Analyse logistics performance, identify improvement opportunities, implement corrective actions, and follow up on results.
  • Project & Process Optimization : Lead logistics topics from RFQ to aftersales, manage packaging requirements, coordinate with plants and logistics partners, and drive cost-effective solutions through root cause analysis.

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (., Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration).
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a related area.
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • High level of ownership and ability to work independently.
  • Analytical mindset with a process-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English (written and verbal). German is a plus
  • Proficiency in presentation techniques and tools.
