On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Material Recycling Compliance Specialist to join our Logistics division.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Manage EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) fee calculation, declaration, and compliance review in Hungary, ensuring alignment with local regulations.
2) Monitor EU and Hungarian EPR policy updates, develop strategies to mitigate legal risks.
3) Coordinate with third-party agencies for EPR registration, audits, and reporting.
4) optimize EPR cost management processes to reduce operational costs and improve recycling efficiency.
1)Classify and dispose of solid waste according to Hungarys Waste Management Act (Act CLXXXV of 2012).
2)Optimize recycling processes to align with circular economy principles.
1)Ensure compliance with Hungarys Environmental Protection Act and Product Environmental Fee Act.
2)Support environmental impact assessments (EIA) and permit applications.
3)Participate in developing overseas EPR compliance training programs to enhance regulatory awareness.
1)Collaborate with production and logistics teams to reduce waste and build green supply chains.
Conduct compliance training to enhance team awareness.
1)Maintain waste management records and submit ESG reports.
2)Analyze waste treatment costs and propose cost-saving solutions.
3)Monitor the flow of recycled materials to ensure data consistency with reported content.
