Linum Consult’s client is a global engineering services group. They are urgently looking to hire a Project Recovery Lead to get a gigafactory construction project back on track. This is a day-rate, 9-month contract based in Hungary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Using root cause analyses to determine project issues through data analysis, interviews, and site inspections
Creating a detailed recovery plan that outlines strategies, timelines, and resource requirements to address the identified issues
Maintaining open and transparent communication with stakeholders, including the project team, clients, and management; ensuring everyone is aware of the situation and recovery plan
Allocating and managing resources effectively to support the recovery plan
Tracking project progress against the recovery plan, identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective actions as required
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to prevent future issues and enhance project performance

PROFILE

At least 12-15 years of experience in a similar role on complex, large-scale industrial buildings, particularly manufacturing facilities or gigafactories

Degree qualification in Construction Management or an Engineering subject

From a senior EPC background, with project turnaround expertise, strategic oversight, and root cause analysis skills

Strong interpersonal and liaison skills, with the ability to interface with senior stakeholders and board members

Excellent communication skills in English
