Strategy Analyst

Job Location : Budapest

As part of our Market Strategy & Product Development team, you’ll contribute to high-impact business decisions, from investment evaluations to market trend analysis and strategic planning.

What You’ll Do :

  • Contribute to strategy development across MOL Group’s Chemicals portfolio
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis to drive strategic decisions
  • Evaluate growth opportunities, including organic investments (e.g., capacity expansion, new technologies) and inorganic initiatives (e.g., M&A, strategic partnerships)
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams on early-stage strategic planning and business development initiatives
  • Drive our Market Intelligence platform with relevant and timely insights
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory shifts, and technology developments to generate actionable recommendations

What We’re Looking For :

  • BSc or MSc in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 + years of experience in strategy, market research, consulting, or business analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest or knowledge in the chemicals / downstream sector is a plus
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
